Roslyn L. Collins, Founder of Shades of Rose, LLC
Hello, I’m Roslyn Collins, LMSW, a Licensed Master Social Worker with more than 30 years of experience supporting individuals, organizations, and communities through trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. I am also a proud U.S. Army Veteran, bringing a disciplined, service-driven approach to leadership, wellness, and resilience.
My professional work encompasses counseling and crisis intervention, facilitating restorative healing circles, program development, and delivering wellness workshops, training, and speaking engagements for corporate, nonprofit, and community-based organizations. I work with girls, teens, and women, helping them build confidence, heal from life’s challenges, and step into their strength. My work is deeply personal. I did not arrive here without adversity. Growing up, I faced significant challenges, and as a Black woman, I understand firsthand the layered impact of trauma, systemic barriers, and unmet support. Those lived experiences, combined with more than three decades of professional practice, shape the way I show up for the individuals and communities I serve with compassion, honesty, and a belief in their ability to grow and thrive.

Today, I live a healthier, more grounded, and fulfilling life, and I share my story openly to remind others that transformation is possible. My goal is to help women and girls envision a life beyond their current circumstances, reconnect with their inner resilience, and gain the confidence needed to turn their hopes and dreams into reality.
